Students throughout Wellington Catholic DSB are taking part in a pilgrimage to celebrate the Jubilee Year. In May, a large cross began its journey across the Board at Bishop Macdonell Catholic High School. Over the coming months all schools will have the opportunity to host the cross for several days, where students will take part in a series of celebrations and decorate a section of the cross with symbols of hope. They'll then embark on a pilgrimage to deliver the cross to students at the next school.
The pilgrimage will continue throughout June and resume in September, with the journey concluding at the WCDSB office in late October.
